On the first day of Flower Piano 2025, we settled into the Garden of Fragrance to play some cool chamber music—both Classical and Fusion—including an arrangement of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody and the original soundtrack from How to Train Your Dragon.
The crowd cheered warmly and called for an encore! This was such a fun event, arranged by Xinzhi, one of our LGCMS directors.

We had another successful event at the Atria Willow Glen. We went way over our scheduled 1-hour slot, but everyone stayed and enjoyed listening to us to the end of our program.
Huge thanks to all of the musicians who made this event possible, especially Abraham, our lead cello in the cello quartet, for making a huge impression on our audience!

What an incredible evening it was at the block party last Saturday! The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as people gathered to enjoy the festivities. Amidst the laughter and chatter, my brother and I had the privilege of adding a touch of musical magic to the event. As cellists, we performed a medley of classical and pop songs such as U2 "With and Without You" and Michael Jackson "Human Nature", aiming to uplift spirits and spread joy throughout the crowd.
Performing cello duets with my brother has always been a cherished experience for both of us. There's something truly special about the harmonious blend of our cellos echoing through the air. Together, we've spent countless hours rehearsing, fine-tuning each note with care and dedication. It's moments like these that remind us of the bond we share through music, a bond that transcends words and connects us on a deeper level.
As we played, we were overwhelmed by the warmth and appreciation radiating from the audience. It was humbling to see how our music resonated with people, brightening their evening and creating lasting memories. Our hearts swelled with gratitude for the opportunity to share our passion and talent with others. A little girl placed herself in the front row seat and watched us attentively throughout the whole show, cheering and clapping excitedly. Some elderly neighbors came over to chat with us about our music study and school works. With lots of food and wine prepared by all of our neighbors, people had smiles on their faces and good spirits in their minds!
Moving forward, we aspire to continue using our music as a force for good, spreading positivity and compassion wherever we go. After all, making a difference in the world doesn't always require grand gestures; sometimes, it's as simple as sharing a melody and touching hearts along the way.
